Missed opportunity...
I am in Welland,
Ontario, Canada, for a few days. The picture at the left is of one of the
locks in the Welland Canal which joins Lake Erie with Lake Ontario in North
America. Yesterday
morning,
at
about
5
am,
I
drove along the Welland Canal toward Lake Erie. The sun was coming up, and there
was
a fog about one foot off the ground all around. The land is very flat. Along
the side of the road were about 20 large Canadian geese. All you could see were
their heads about the line of fog. Great image, but no camera. Went out again
this morning, with camera. Geese and sun, but no fog. At times, things
just
don't
line
up.
It takes three points to make a plane.
Forgot to follow up. Victor and I were scheduled to split wood last weekend.
Lucky for us that Jason joined us. The three of us + that Paul Bunyanette,
Alice, did about 3 cords of wood until the pressure valve on the log splitter
gave out. Tough work. I think Victor ended up with a chipped bone in his finger.
I have bruises and scars all over me. Jason and Alice came through pretty much
unscathed.
In Welland, Ontario, tonight, which is near Niagara Falls, New York, my birthplace.
Friday!
